In 2019, University of Split with its partner School of Medicine, has begun implementing the infrastructural project "Operationalization of newly-built facility for experimental animals at the University of Split", ref. no. KK.01.1.1.02.0026.
The main goal of the project is equipping the animal facility located at the University of Split School of Medicine's building, establishing functional organizational protocols, and raising the level of science and research at the University
by implementing the “good animal welfare equals good science” practice.
