The
Anesthesiology and Intensive Care is a mandatory course in the fifth year of the integrated undergraduate and graduate university study of medicine and consists of 15 hours of lectures, 60 hours of exercises and 20 hours of seminars - a total of 95 hours (5 ECTS). The course is conducted at the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, University Hospital Split (locations Firule and Križine), and in the Cabinet for Clinical Skills (Basement rooms - Pathological-anatomical complex Firule). The aim of the course is to gain basic knowledge and skills in the field of anesthesiology, resuscitation, intensive care medicine and pain treatment.
