This department deals with the systematic promotion of skills of scientific communication and research integrity in medical academia. Research papers are the most important way of communication between scientists and the main criterion of scientific excellence of individual researchers and research institutions, and the most complete documented record of scientific research available to the public. One of the major problems in modern science is the increasing incidence of dishonest scientific conduct, and the lack of systematic training in the responsible conduct of research and research integrity. Department for International Scientific Communication deals with these activities.
