Research

The Department has two active research groups, led by Prof. Ana Marušić and Prof. Matko Marušić. Prof. A. Marušić currently participates in an FP7 project looking at the publication bias in clinical trials. Prof. M. Marušić is the principal investigator on the research grant from the Croatian Ministry of Science, Education and Sports, studying the influence of scientific journals on academic community.
Several teachers from the Department are active members of the Croatian Branch of the Cochrane Collaboration, whose director is Dr Dario Sambunjak.
The Department also hosts the official Croatian register of clinical trials, RegPok.hr, in collaboration with the Croatian MInistry of Health and Social Care.
Prof. A. Marušić is the co-editor in chief of an international peer-reviewed journal, Journal of Global Health.
